Ms. Heller currently serves as a board member of Gold Coast CUE and as co-president of Tri-County GATE Council. She taught k-8 for 26 years and served as coordinator for gifted education and for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She contributed to Teaching for Racial Equity: Becoming Interrupters as well as to online journals and blogs. Ms. Heller presents best practices in gifted education and inquiry throughout the U.S. She was also Gold Coast CUE's Outstanding Educator for 2020. Ms. Heller also served as the Oak Park Inquiry Institute director, department chair, peer coach, and technology mentor.
