Students need to have a working vocabulary of at least 50,000 words to be successful in college. Most students only learn 3,000 words per year and leave high school with a deficit of 14,000 words. Research shows that 65% of a student’s academic vocabulary comes from ELA (10%) and History (55%) classes. Learn a protocol that improves vocabulary development and reading comprehension no matter what subject you teach.
