Attendees will create and curate their classroom digital ecosystem! Explore a few (yet multi-useful) tools/resources as we use an inquiry lens to project plan for beyond-the-classroom impact. Using AI as an assist plus your existing tech repertoire, create opportunities for students to problem-solve creatively, think critically, and address complex topics/issues in ways that matter to them. We will dabble in idea generation using AI tools such as Khamnigo and Magic School AI. Using the interdisciplinary example of climate change, we will backwards plan to take inquiry lessons/units/projects to the next level!

Authentic inquiry combines the “have to” curriculum with your “want to” goals of

There are many models of what it means to be literate in the classroom in generative AI. They are stronger together. This session uses this concept to identify the common objectives, what is missing, and makes recommendations on which sources provide "free" curriculum that can be used to guide AI literacy instruction.

This session demonstrates how Khanmigo, an AI tutor, helps students improve their learning through targeted support and creative exploration. We'll show real-world examples of students using AI for interventions and beyond- developing critical thinking, collaboration, and creative skills. Attendees will leave with strategies to use AI in classrooms, not just for support but for fostering student engagement in innovative ways.
